Creating Financially Empowered Women

Creating Financially Empowered Women

Financial independence is a core personal belief.  Reading the book Prince Charming isn't Coming changed my perspective on my relationship with money.  The author's story in Prince came to life many times over as I watched female clients go through divorce and have absolutely no idea how much money their husband's had or where to find it.  They had been blissfully unaware and unbothered by finances...until it wasn't blissful anymore.

So where am I going with this?

The movement business is dominated by female Owners and female employees.  We are a matriarchal industry.  And if we aren't contributing to a 401k or offering a 401k to our employees, we are part of the problem and not doing anything to help redefine women's careers or financial independence.

I realize we aren't able to employ 10 Teachers full time 40 hours a week but that doesn't mean we can't provide tools to help women get better with money and strive for financial independence.

For this reason, Evolve Your Studio is partnering with Betterment to bring financial education, coaching and affordable 401k programs to small, micro businesses.  They will be doing a lunch n learn this fall AND will be providing preferred pricing on their services to all of our members.
